Between 30th May and 1st June, San Jorge Packaging was present at the Expo WINE + BEER exhibition focused on industry providers of wine and beer. It’s to say that the exhibitors profile mainly included: bottling, box packaging and packaging in general, consumption and products for the elaboration, welding, irrigation systems, labels, and soldering, amongst others.
At this event we gave people the opportunity to get to know our new product Bag In Box, which is a soft plastic container, enclosed in a cardboard box with an attractive print.
This represents an environmentally respectful alternative in comparison to other types of standard packaging. Clients can minimize their environmental impact by reducing waste, consuming less energy and preserving prime materials. Our bag in box system is not only recyclable, it produces five times less waste than rigid containers. Also, they’re available in a wide range of sizes for the bulk product market, of which translates to less packaging per liter of product.
Amongst the novelties of the exhibition, the attendees had different activities, informative and discussion spaces such as:
Talks and seminars: They discussed technical production, sales systems, advice for smart consumption and financing options for entrepreneurs.
Courses: Attendees learned how to make wine and beer using different techniques.
Tastings: With an emphasis on new products and the evaluation of new production techniques.
